About Us
Started in 2017 by a passionate player of ARK: Survival Evolved – who would eventually inspire the cluster’s name – Scruffy PvE has grown into a long-standing Oceanic community with a colourful history, a loyal player base, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.
Today, Scruffy operates dedicated clusters for both ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Survival Ascended, giving players the opportunity to enjoy both classic and modern Ark experiences within the same community.
The cluster also features a rotating map schedule, helping keep adventures fresh while ensuring every map gets its time in the spotlight and its own active community.
Based in the AU/NZ region, Scruffy offers boosted rates alongside a carefully maintained set of rules and guidelines designed to encourage fairness, collaboration, creativity, and long-term enjoyment. Whether you enjoy building massive bases, breeding powerful lines, tackling bosses, exploring new maps, or simply surviving alongside friends, Scruffy aims to create an environment where every style of Ark player feels at home.
The admin team is made up of long-time Ark players who have also spent years as part of the Scruffy community itself. Their experience with both ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Survival Ascended – combined with a genuine investment in the community they help run – continues to shape Scruffy into a stable, community-focused cluster that players can rely on and enjoy for years to come.
