We’re excited to announce that our Ark Ascended cluster is officially back online under a new name
Scruffy Reborn
You can now find our servers under the following names:
Permanent Maps
- Scruffy Reborn – The Island – PvE 10x
- Scruffy Reborn – Astraeos – PvE 10x
Current Rotating Maps
- Scruffy Reborn – Aberration – PvE 10x
- Scruffy Reborn – Extinction – PvE 10x
- Scruffy Reborn – Ragnarok – PvE 10x
- Scruffy Reborn – Genesis – PvE 10x (to be added when released)
How the Rotation System Works
The cluster will maintain two permanent maps — The Island and Astraeos — alongside four rotating map slots.
As new maps become available or community interests change, maps in the rotating slots may be swapped out. Don’t worry about losing your progress though — all map save files will be retained and will continue from where they left off when that map returns to the rotation.
Genesis 1 will be added as a rotating map as soon as it becomes available for ASA.
Ark Evolved (ASE) Returns
Our Ark Evolved cluster has also been brought back online.
In addition, the Decay Plugin has been re-licensed and is now active once again. This means:
- Bases, tribes and dinos belonging to players who have not logged in for 30 days may be removed.
- Donators receive an extended decay period of 90 days.
This should help keep the maps clean and ensure space remains available for active players.
Future ASE Map Rotation?
There has been some discussion about introducing a map rotation system for the Ark Evolved cluster as well.
At present, ASE only has three map slots available, so rotating maps could allow us to offer a greater variety of content over time. No decisions have been made yet, but we may put together a community vote on the idea in the future.
