Should We Add Awesome SpyGlass?
We’re considering adding the popular Awesome SpyGlass mod to the Scruffy ASA Cluster and would like your feedback.
One of the biggest challenges for newer breeders is checking creature stats.
Currently, players need to unlock and craft advanced equipment before they can easily identify strong breeding lines, which can make getting started feel more difficult than it needs to be.
Awesome SpyGlass would allow players to quickly view creature information and important stat details, making breeding more accessible from the beginning of their journey rather than requiring progression through later-game content first.
Benefits:
- Easier breeding and stat tracking for all players – rather than only those with enough time/skill to complete ascension
- More accessible for newer/non-dedicated players
- A mostly standard mod for most other clusters
- No impact on breeding balance itself – it simply provides information
Potential Drawbacks:
- Reduces some progression tied to unlocking advanced stat-checking tools
- May make creature evaluation a little easier than intended by the base game
